RICHARD H. COSNER, 75, FARMED IN OROFINO AREA

      OROFINO - Richard H. Cosner, a longtime Orofino-area farmer, died of a heart attack Sunday at his home near Orofino. He was 75.
      He was born Aug. 2, 1917, on the family farm near Ahsahka, about three miles west of Orofino, to Achilles and Eva Crafer Cosner.
      His mother died when he was 4, and he was raised by his father. He attended schools at Ahsahka and then began working with his father on the family farm.
      He married Vera Jenkins in 1939. They were divorced in 1961.
      He later married Cheryl Burns, and she died in an automobile accident in 1967.
      He continued to live and work on the family farm until the time of his death.
      He was a member of Cream Ridge United Brethern Church and the Evergreen Grange at Teakean, both near Southwick.
      Survivors include four sons, Dale Cosner of Marysville, Wash., Fred Cosner of Boise, Paul Haddock of Battle Mountain, Nev., and Terry Cosner of Lewiston; six daughters, Helen Egland of Lewiston, Joyce Simonsen of Challis, Idaho, Leona Marie of Folsom, Calif., Norma Hosford of Boise, Ramona Cosner of Albuquerque, N.M., and Lorrina O'Connell; 12 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
      The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Cream Ridge United Brethern Church, with the Rev. Marvin Preussler of the church officiating. Burial will follow at the Teakean Cemetery.
      Services are under the direction of Pine Hills Funeral Chapel in Orofino.
